Dear Mother,
As I have bin heare every cince the first of this month I will write a fiew lines to you mearly to let you know where I am and how all are out heare. They are all well so fare as I know. Uncle John has bought land a bout forty miles from heare and is gaain to moove to it in November. It cost him forty five dollars per acre. He has not sold the plase he is now living on. It will be sold the first of August to the hiest bider. As I am short of funs and do not know how long I shal stay heare, but I will have to stay heare until I recive something to leave on. I should had a nough to do me until Christmas if I had not come heare and as I do not know whither I will get any thing or not, I woul like to recive a bout twenty dollars to get back to college. I will send you a bill that I had to pay and by ading my expences from home & washing & sumer clothes & books to it you will see that I have not spent any moore than I was compeld to do. I have a little money now but not enough to get back on. You will please answer this soon and let me know how all are at home. As I have no news worth writing I will close. Give my love to all & e. Gran Ma says that Gran promis to write to her and has faild to do it and she seams to think very hard of him for not writing to her.
