My dear Sallie

I send Bud with a horse for you to come home with him to spend next week with me. I expected to go up after you myself but I have had the toothacke very severely. Sweated and blistered my jaw yesterday and I am afraid to turn out in the weather. Sallie, come prepared to go Preaching at Mr. Popes church tomorrow if the weather moderates. Be certain to come and bring your work with you. I will send you home when you wish to go,
